ΓЄOPΓ,/ [A] CΠAΘ S CTPATI/Γω in four lines, decoration above. Unpublished in the standard references. A very artistically engraved portrait of Saint George. Minor roughness and oxidation, otherwise, good very fine.

Georgios was the supreme commander of a Byzantine province (a theme), which unfortunately he does not name in the legend of his seal.
